Vic Jr. intake on 351w block I have about two inches clearance to bottom of hood when closed. I used a 1.5 inch drop cleaner from summit.

Here is a link to the cleaner. 1.25 inch drop.

The color is a PPG color Orange glow over sterling silver.

As for the height difference I'm not sure,

I run an air-gap on a 351W with Energy Suspension poly engine mounts, a Speed Demon carb, and a 14-inch diameter, 3-inch thick K&N air filter with a 1 1/4 - inch drop base and a K&N filter top. Heads are AFR 185's with Fel Pro 1110-2 gaskets; intake gaskets are Fel Pro 1260's. With a Barry Grant gasket between the air cleaner and the carb (this is a fairly thick gasket of this type, maybe 1/4 inch), air cleaner-to-hood clearance is tight at the air cleaner top edges, but OK. No problems.

I have a Performer rpm manifold (not airgap) w/ a BG 650 speed demon and a 1/2 inch spacer and the usual Cobra oval air filter. haven't bothered to measure hood clearance but there is about 1/2 inch under the body edge ahead of the windshield.

What's the part number on the Energy Suspension poly engine mounts?

Thanks!

I run a 393ci Windsor with an Air Gap manifold, 770 Holley, 1-1/4" drop base Moroso 14" air cleaner - everything fits OK. The air filter element is about 2-3/4" tall. The drop base air cleaner is a necessity.

I wanted to run one of the oval Cobra air cleaners, but couldn't get it to clear the hood.

"What's the part number on the Energy Suspension poly engine mounts?"

Looks like these are the 5.0 motor mount numbers. Not sure if they are for a 351w.

Motor Mount:
4.1122G GT 2WD Motor Mount; Black; Pair; Left (Driver); Right (Passenger) Side; 5.0 Liter
4.1122R GT 2WD Motor Mount; Red; Pair; Left (Driver); Right (Passenger) Side; 5.0 Liter
4.1122G LX 2WD Motor Mount; Black; Pair; Left (Driver); Right (Passenger) Side; 5.0 Liter
