Heater blowing cold.

Have the FFR old style heater. The hose to the heater from manifold is hot (with valve), but the hose exiting the heater is cold? IN other words, one hose hot other cold? Could they be backwards ? Does it matter which hose feeds the heater. The elbow closest to the firewall is the warm hose. Installed per FFR instructions. Thanks

Sounds like the valve is closed OR the heater core is blocked. Direction of flow can be either way throught the heater. :001_huh: :silver:

Feel the hose where it exits the valve towards the heater. Like Mumblerone mentioned, valve or core blocked.

JUst a thought. Where are your hoses hooked up on the motor??

It does'nt really matter which hose conects to the inlet or outlet of the heater core.
But if one hose is hot but other not. Heater control valve is closed. Or heater core is blocked.
Another cause is coolant level is too low,or sstem still needs burping:)
