Best color of blue paint, for a cobra ?

Hey guys, just doing a little bit of planning / dreaming. I've seen cobra's in guardsman blue, viper blue, toyota blue, & even chevy blue. In you guys opinion... what color of blue is the best. I'm looking for a drop down color of "cobra" blue, that will make everyone stop & stare?
What the best color of blue, you've seen?

Thanks guyz,
mach

One of the most eye catching shades of blue that I have seen is AutoAir Nightmare Blue.

Daytona Blue, B17. Formula slighty altered to reduce purple effect at night.

Talking

Ken Pike mixed a special color for my car. Everywhere i go, people want to know what color it is and who painted it. Since it was never done before mine, I call it Mikey Blue.

I tend to lead towards the darker shades of blue, and originally wanted the Midnight Metalic blue that comes on the Ford GT. i think that would look great! but it was difficult to get so this is what i went with...VERY happy with it.

this is my car, Lexus Indigo Ink Pearl, with Artic White stripes...sprayed by Jeff Miller.

It's a matter of your personal taste. There's no "best color of blue". I love the Lexus Indigo Blue.

I like the shade of blue that is sometimes referred to as "Red".

Other than that, I am really partial to the darker blues. What paint system is going to be used? For something that is out of the ordinary check out PPG's Vibrance Collection as well as HOK. A bit more pricey, but definitely a head turner. Heading over to the paint shop and checking out the paint chips on a bright sunny day is definitely a good idea.

Mach, Welcome!

Since you are new here, you probably don't know there are multiple paint color threads existing so you can see all the various colors. They are under

Thumbs up

I want a dark blue that does not look black at night or low light situations and have decided on a Toyota Spectra Blue Mica, Toyota code 8M6,- looks fantastic in the bright sun but not jet black at night.
Just my $.02 worth of opinion.

I'm going with a red, but if I went blue it would be Indigo Ink.

Hopefully Jon (Cobranut1) will post a pic or two, but my personal favorite is Lexus Spectra Blue Mica. I have used it on two cars so far, and it looks absolutely awesome.

BTW, red is NOT a color for these cars. Dick Smith's car aside, red just does these cars no justice.

Here's a so,so pic of mine - Lexus Spectra Blue, Honda White Stripes and grey mini pinners. If you need another pic taken, let me know and I'll be glad to. The pic of me is when I got interviewed for some tv car show during the Slelby Show in Santa Monica earlier this year...

Hope it helps.

Talking A B C . . .

I'd post a picture of mine but then there would be two identical Cobras on the same page . . . Look at "Gil" from Michigan and your looking at mine too. Ford Royal Blue w/ GM Artic white stripes.

IMHO, there is nothing like Guardsman Blue with Wimbeldon White. Those two where just made for each other. To me the GM white is to stark, Wimbeldon White has that vintage appeal thats my 2cents.
