Had the car since January 2006, 16,000 miles with a "limited" driving season. Not bad considering that there are only two seasons here - the 4th of July and winter.
I also like to do a little 4 wheeling with my Cherokee:
Coupe builder here. I sold my roadster right after finishing it and started the coupe. Making lots of modifications like, tinted rear window, re positioned the engine for clearance of the webers, Spherical bearings front and back, Redesign of the headers and side pipes to let the motor breath better. All that being said you can see from the pictures I have not made alot of progress in getting it together. Here are some shots.
Hope to see alot of activity here from all you NY ers
Jeff

Hey Shawn, et al,
My first encounter with the Cobra was in 1965 when some guy my brother knew had inherited a ton of money and bought one. Only saw it on the road a couple times but loved it! Several years ago I came across an add for Factory Five and sent for the info, I was in love again. My wife and I went to Martha's Vineyard last summer and on the way home made a "pilgrimage" to Factory Five. OMG!!! Later in the summer I met Shawn and his gorgeous FFR at a cruise in the town of Clarence, NY. He graciously invited me to ride along on the Fall Foliage trip and got to ride in Frank's and Shawn's FFRs and Jerry's S-7 Saleen. Every time I think about that day I get this big sh-- eatin' grin across my face. I met a great bunch of guys and some of their wives and had a fabulous time. I am unfortunately only at the dream stage but want to build and drive one before I die. I'm thrilled to be a part of the forum and am there everyday. Anybody in the area need a gofer while they work on their build I'd love to be included.
Hi all,.in the western New York region. I'm in the process of putting together a big block roadster,..and,...I was wondering how everyone else,..has registered their cars? I've heard some real horror stories,...I;m just trying to get things in order now..so when the time comes to actually register the car,...the process will go smoothly. Thanks in advance.
