Problem with passenger side exhaust

Installing the exhaust today and pulled out the pipes that attach to the headers, 5.0 ball and socket style, I guess. Anyway, the passenger side does not fit at all. The round end, ball, of the header is facing the 7 o'clock position and the socket of the pipe is facing 2 o'clock, needs to point up more toward a 1 o'clock position. There is no way they are going to connect unless the pipe is rebent. The driver side fits very well, lots of movement for adjustment. Suggestions?

Will the clamps sent with the kit tighten enough to seal the pipes? It just doesn't seem like they will.

It is the weekend so will have to wait til Monday on FF, but thought I would ask here.

Thanks

You might want to post a couple of pictures of the problem. I wonder if maybe they sent you the wrong pipe.

I had that problem until I took out the grinder. After that, no problem and it seals up fine.

I ground down a little on the back side of it, I guess I need to do some more then.

What about the clamps?
