Rear View Mirror

I want to mount my rear view mirror on the inside top of the roadster windshield frame. Is there clearance above the glass to drill the holes in the windshield frame? Or is something else required?

Any comments will be appreciated.

On most cars they are glued with two sided tape to the windshield...

Mounted mine to the windshield frame with two 8-32 screws. I made the mount but I think Hagan might sell one. These are Hagan Hot Rod "Fatties" mirrors with a wide field of view.

Talking mirror mount

Check with Dark Water Customs, I think he makes a bracket that won't need frame drilling . . . It's for a roadster but might work in your installation.

rear view mirror

I took the four screws out of the frame and took off the top piece and then drilled it. Used a Hagon but had to modify it for the right angle.
