I wondered when the first wings would show up on the 33, you need the down draft to push the power on the rear wheels for this light car....

Although it only is effective over speeds of 50mph.....

I remember that car!

That car showed up to do Drag Week 2011, but didn't make it to the second track. I have pictures somewhere. Wicked fast.

Wings?

Would a wing be beneficial for downforce since the 33 only weighs 2500lbs
Has anyone done this?
I think it could be cool

A wing is only usefull after a certain speed, when it starts generating lift,... er unlift(?)... anyway they need to be larger than you think and are only effective over 50mph (or so I am told...)

We just put one on our Ridetech 33, haven't tested it thoroughly yet though.

Once that thing starts generating down force that front end is gonna get really light. Or does he have a big front wing also??

Pretty cool. I've been trying to learn how to draw for 45 or so years and still stink at it. I did play with some wing ideas, push bar(s), bar style bumpers, and mostly a roof scoop.

I will probably follow through with the front bumpers and really like the roof scoop but might want an EXTRA roof to attempt it.

Something like the one below, but totally different:
