33's with LS engines

I have done a bunch of searching and haven't been able to find what I'm looking for but I was wondering what kind of transmissions are the guys using LS engines using in the HR's?

I am just trying to figure out which direction I want to go as I am planning on buying the engine, transmission, rear end, and wheels before I order my kit in the spring.

Thanks in advance..

Trans choice

I am using a ls1/4l60e drop out from a 2002 Firebird. Wanted auto overdrive computer control and wanted units to match the PCM.

What did you do about the driveshaft? Did you have to do something custom?

Drive Shaft

I had FF5 delete the driveshaft when I ordered my kit because they did not have one for the LS/4L60E combination. I am going to have Dynotech Engineering make a custom aluminum one when I get farther along in the build. They made the one for my 66 Chevelle and I was very pleased with there produce.

Hi,
I would install the TKO-600 and use an external slave kit on the bellhousing. I'll forward a picture of it shortly.
