LS Radiator Hose Question

This is for LS motored 33 Hot rods only. Ford guys need not reply.
I was at a show today and was checking out a 40 Chevy with a full late model Corvette drive train including an LS2 motor. I noticed that the radiator hose from the thermostat housing went into the bottom of the radiator and the other connection up by the water pump pulley went onto the top of the radiator. Are the LS motors backwards from all other GM engines? I have always run the hose from the thermostat to the top of the radiator not the bottom. Any help would be appreciated as I am just now mocking up the radiator hoses and don;t want a do over.

I think you can connect it either way. I have my t-stat hose running to the upper and it works fine. On the LS the t-stat housing hose in the inlet and the other is the outlet.

Make sure you properly bleed the air out of it or it will give you problems. The LS is much harder to get the air out of than the Ford stuff.
