Maturing the adolescent
These forums are proving invaluable in planning for a 33 build.
The goal is: a reliable, Coyote 5 speed, as driveable and comforatable as possibile in a Northern climate. Something you could travel in for a few hours at least.
Assuming suspension upgrades as described by Dr. Ruth & Tom V for ride quality are used;
I am looking for opinions regarding the soft top vs. hard top for practicality, noise, temp control etc. Has anyone had experience in both the soft and hard version?
For chassis, body noise, and heat insulation, in addition to the good ideas in the forum files, would it be practical to use two aluminum panels on both sides of the chassis tubing and fill the void with more insulation?
Is there a combination of Wilwood parts and tunnel mods that with the std trans will provide a hyd clutch and improved driver foot box room?
Thanks for your ideas and advice.
