Hard Top Mounting

The manual has me drilling three 1/4" holes under the rear window on the hard top mounting flange. I don't see how this attachment can be accessed.

Can anyone clarify.

You have to drill large holes on the inner shell to access the bolts. Pretty sure that's in manual too somewhere.

bolt access ports

Bob I think what you are talking about are the acess ports drilled in the interior sidewall of the hardtop directly over the 1/4" bolt holes. These acess ports are approx. 2" in diameter to match the snap in acess port plugs. My manual shows it on page 265. Bolts are installed through these acess ports down through the hardtop and into rivnuts installed in the body. Rivenuts are only installed in the locations you can't acess a regular washer and nyloc nut.
If you are near Corvallis today or tomorrow you could look at Quicksilvers top. PM me if you want to look.

Thanks guys.

I thought the 1-3/4" access holes were only intended to go at the two side attachment points. Didn't realize they were used at all five rear attachment points.
