Hey FFCars.com, this is sort of an introduction of our company and our Factory 5 build. We at Ridetech have been building a Factory 5 1933 Ford off and on for a while now. We're pretty far into the build right now but there is still plenty of more work to do. We hope to keep you all updated on whats happening with the build and in the future post some video of the car in action. If you want to catch up on what we've done on the car so far, you can check out our online journal here: 1933 Ford – Build Journal | Follow along as Ridetech builds it's first protouring streetrod

I love it! I am especially glad to see people going well beyond the 550HP I put in mine. That way, when people say I'm crazy, I can say "Oh no, I'll show you CRAZY!"
I think I speak for everyone here when I say that's just not fair. That will smoke anything at the Good guys event. The roll cage is amazing! The tranny, the motor, the rear end! Holy cow! Will it be done in time for the Del Mar event in November? I hope not!
sweet looking build. love the control arms and the custom panels. (427 don't look bad either!) what kind of carbon fiber spring are you developing? sounded interesting, keep us informed!

Barring complete implosion, we'll have this car competing at the Nashville Goodguys show on May 20. And beyond.

...and it should rev good with the 5.5" triple carbon clutch. Clutch and flywheel total weight is 13lbs.

What has impressed me is how well things are thought out. I especially like the peddle box on the floor so the entire p/s can be under the dash. Great build Ridetech!
Does the roll cage prevent removing the body now? Is it permanently welded in place?
I would think so with it passing through the dash. I'm gonna put the pvc back together one more time on mine. Now that I have the seat locations figured out I will be able to see if the bars are intrusive. I like having a handy place for the fire extinguisher and the roll over protection would make the car safer. Of course I mean when the bars are STEEL not pvc.
The 33 ran for the first time tonite. Sounds great...I'll get a video posted Monday.
The stainless cage is welded in...body is permanently mounted.
The car WILL be in Salem next weekend for the Battle at the Banks autocross. I hope it's fast.
We'll be in Nashville on May 18 for the Goodguys event as well.
