Question: [RA] "how much does it cost to get a set of axles out of a 9" rear shortened 1" and re-splined"

Answers:

[AL] "Try Superior Axles (www.footaxle.com) 888.522.2953 or

Drivetrain Direct (www.drivetraindirect.com) 888.584.4327

[FK] "Currie Enterprises used to do them for about $90 a pair. They advertise in most magazines."

[DC] "You could also try Mosier Enterprises. I think their in Ohio (can't remember). They narrowed my 8.8 and resplined the axles for under $200. They should have ads in most major auto magazines"

[LS] "I just bought a set of Moser axles, with long studs and shipping for $235.00 from Muscle Motors."
